Rate: $38.76 – $43.66 (L3-Dip) per hour including Tax and Super (costs associated with Insurance & Workcover are taken care of by the Employer, who will also process your Tax and Super payments on your behalf)

Flex with days and times – 2 days a week, flexible on which days. Flexibility for hours between 9am – 6pm

The family are a creative, neurodiversity-affirming family looking for a compassionate and experienced educator to join them in supporting their child’s growth and development.

They would like the Educator to be nurturing the child’s strengths and interests, and creating an environment where they feel safe, understood, and free to be themselves. The child’s interests are animals, science, lego, and nature. These passions provide a meaningful foundation for learning and connection, and they are seeking an educator who can thoughtfully expand on them through play-based and developmentally appropriate activities.

The role involves supporting basic daily routines with care and consistency. They highly value an educator who can follow the child’s lead, respect their sensory needs and boundaries, and gently guide them through ideas and projects from start to finish.

Building trust is essential in the home, and they hope to find someone who is emotionally attuned, respectful and genuinely committed to forming a meaningful relationship with the child. Your ability to connect, co-regulate, and honor their voice will be central to your success in this role.

You must:
– Have obtained or are working towards your Certificate/Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care OR
have a Bachelor teaching degree (early years or primary) and registered with the teaching authority board of the relevant state
– Be an experienced child care worker with at least 3 professional references.
– Have WWCC, Police Check, CPR and Level 2 First Aid
– Have a car & driver’s licence
– Be willing to commit for at least 12 months
– Full working rights in Australia (Applicants with 155, 190 & 186 visas may be considered depending on conditions and length of remaining stay –
417 & 462 visas need not apply)
