Rate: $37.20 – $39.69 (L3) per hour including Super (+ Insurance & Workcover, Employed by Agency)
3 days per week with children aged 3 years, 6 years & 8 years

The family are looking for an experienced, organized and caring Educator to become part of their family to assist with care mainly for the youngest child (3.5yrs) who has a physical and intellectual disability. Despite this, she is a beautiful and easy going little one with the sweetest of nature and no behavioural issues. She can proudly sit and crawl independently and walk with hand holding assistance. She is non verbal. She loves music and books and attends the local childcare and special needs playgroup during the week. The family has two other children (6 and 8 yrs) who will also, on occasion, be required to be picked up from school. The role also includes child related chores such as washing, cooking and basic tidying up.

You must:
– Have obtained or are working towards your Certificate/Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care OR
have a Bachelor teaching degree (early years or primary) and registered with the teaching authority board of the relevant state
– Be an experienced child care worker with at least 3 professional references.
– Have WWCC, Police Check, CPR and Level 2 First Aid
– Have a car & driver’s licence
– Be willing to commit for at least 12 months
– Have the right to work in Australia (Applicants with 417 & 462 visas need not apply)
