3 DAY NANNY EDUCATOR (15775) BAHRS SCRUB, QLD
Rate: $38.76 – $41.38 (L3) per hour including Tax and Super (costs associated with Insurance & Workcover are taken care of by the Employer, who will also process your Tax and Super payments on your behalf)
3 days per week with 2 children aged 22 months & 6 months

Flex with days – Depending on family work schedule
Flex with times – Shifts may finish earlier

A warm and loving mum is seeking a dedicated and nurturing educator to care for her two young children. The educator will be entrusted with looking after their daily routine needs while also focusing on providing developmentally appropriate activities that support the children’s growth and help expand on their developmental milestones. The younger child particularly enjoys tummy time and is currently practicing crawling, with a great deal of curiosity and excitement as they explore their world. Meanwhile, the older sibling is full of energy and passion, with a love for dancing, cars, and dinosaurs, and enjoys engaging in activities that fuel their imagination and creativity.

The family is looking for someone who not only has a strong understanding of child development but also someone who can foster an environment of joy, encouragement, and learning. A key part of this role will be promoting healthy eating habits and making mealtime a positive experience. Above all, the family hopes to find an educator who can create an atmosphere where each day is filled with fun, love, and valuable learning experiences that nurture both children’s emotional and physical development.

You must:
– Have obtained or are working towards your Certificate/Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care OR
have a Bachelor teaching degree (early years or primary) and registered with the teaching authority board of the relevant state
– Be an experienced child care worker with at least 3 professional references.
– Have WWCC, Police Check, CPR and Level 2 First Aid
– Have a car & driver’s licence
– Be willing to commit for at least 12 months
– Full working rights in Australia (Applicants with 155, 190 & 186 visas may be considered depending on conditions and length of remaining stay –
417 & 462 visas need not apply)
