Rate: $35.46 – $36.62 (L2) per hour including Tax and Super (costs associated with Insurance & Workcover are taken care of by the Employer, who will also process your Tax and Super payments on your behalf)

Position Available: Childcare and Education Support on Cattle Station, Central Queensland

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic individual to assist our family on a cattle station in central Queensland with the care and educational development of our young child. The role involves creating engaging and enjoyable activities that promote developmental milestones, while also integrating the child into the daily rhythms of station life.

In exchange for your support, board contribution (by private negotiation) will provide accommodation in a fully self-contained cottage with all amenities, as well as all beef supplied.

You must:
– Not essential, but preferable to have or be working towards getting your Certificate in Early Childhood Education & Care or have a relevant higher education

– Be an experienced child care worker with at least 3 professional references.
– Have WWCC, Police Check, CPR and Level 2 First Aid
– Have a car & driver’s licence
– Be willing to commit for at least 12 months
– Full working rights in Australia (Applicants with 155, 190 & 186 visas may be considered depending on conditions and length of remaining stay – 417 & 462 visas need not apply)
