Rate: $35 per hour + Super+ WorkCover
5 days per week with children aged 7, 11 and 12 years

– 38 hours minimum per week with overtime during holidays and on other occasions.
– Hours can change depending on nanny availability and family schedule.

This family would like: We are looking for a full time nanny who wants to be a key part of a family with 3 school aged children. Someone who is professional yet fun, reliable, loving and trustworthy to provide support and care for the family. The suitable applicant will be required to develop a loving, caring, safe and nurturing connection with each of the children.  Must be able to get out and about, kick a ball, play barbies and have a genuine passion for childcare and family life.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE / BACKGROUND

• Have a genuine love of being with and connecting with children
• Previous experience working with children
• Be reliable, honest, trustworthy and flexible
• Playful, fun, active and energetic that can keep up with 3 very active kids
• Can communicate, listen and support emotions of children
• Ability to plan, organize, and multitask with minimal supervision
• Ability to work both independently and in a family team environment
• Able to travel, both domestic and internationally with the family
• Possess a current First Aid certificate.
• Hold a current and valid driver’s license with a good driving history and have a current working with children check and police check.

OTHER SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ATTRIBUTES AND PERSONAL QUALITIES

• Ability to create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the children
• Have an understanding of, or a willingness to learn and embrace the “Aware Parenting” philosophy
• Be self-aware and believe in personal growth
• Have experience working in a busy family environment
• Preparedness to be flexible and be willing to perform household duties whilst children are at school, however when children are at home they are your main priority
• To be proactive
• Understand the development stages of children
• Drive the children to and from activities as required

You must have or be willing to get:
– Have obtained or are working towards your Certificate/Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care OR
have a Bachelor teaching degree (early years or primary) and registered with the teaching authority board of
– Be an experienced child care worker with at least 3 professional references.
– Have WWCC, Police Check, CPR and Level 2 First Aid
– Have a car & driver’s licence
– Be willing to commit for at least 12 months
– Have the right to work in Australia (Applicants with 417 & 462 visas need not apply)
