Rate: $38.76 – $41.38 (L3) per hour including Super (+ Insurance & Workcover, Employed by Agency)
5 days per week with children aged 13 years, 6 years, 5 years & 3 years

Flex with days – possibility of an extra day

Rare opportunity within IHC to make a difference in the life of a family in Erskine, 5 days a week.

Family are looking for a empathetic and experienced career to work alongside the family to create routine and age appropriate activities. The family unit is made up of 4 children, 3 of which attend school (care predominantly for 1 child during the day). The immunocompromised nature of this family means that the educator is to maintain safe hygiene standards and monitor their own health. Days are to be filled with love, patience and activities that support the growth and development of a happy, healthy 3-year-old. Outdoor play, community activities and socialization encouraged and supported- arts and crafts are also very much an interest. Afternoons are to consist of play time, meal prep and dinner supervision and bedtime routine. Previous educator was part of the family for 3 fantastic years.

You must:
– Have obtained or are working towards your Certificate/Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care OR
have a Bachelor teaching degree (early years or primary) and registered with the teaching authority board of the relevant state
– Be an experienced child care worker with at least 3 professional references.
– Have WWCC, Police Check, CPR and Level 2 First Aid
– Have a car & driver’s licence
– Be willing to commit for at least 12 months
– Have the right to work in Australia (Applicants with 417 & 462 visas need not apply)
