Rate: $38.76 – $43.66 (L3-Dip) per hour including Tax and Super (costs associated with Insurance & Workcover are taken care of by the Employer, who will also process your Tax and Super payments on your behalf)

Afterschool care required for a lovely 7 year old 2 to 5 days per week, with the option of additional before school hours for the right applicant.  The successful candidate will facilitate daily school pick ups and plan fun afternoon activities filled with lots of arts and crafts, music and dancing.  A great opportunity to work one on one with a lovely child and assist them with achieving their age appropriate milestones.

This position offers lots of opportunities for additional hours of work during the school holiday periods and an option to pick up extra hours in the mornings before school if desired. Parent is open to negotiation on these additional hours.

Positioned within 12 mins walk to St Leonards Train Station, 15 mins walk to Royal North Shore Hospital and the nearest Bus Stop located less than a minutes walk.

*New METRO in Crows nest 800mt (door to door) with a 7 minute commute to the CBD.

You must:
– Have obtained or are working towards your Certificate/Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care OR
have a Bachelor teaching degree (early years or primary) and registered with the teaching authority board of the relevant state
– Be an experienced child care worker with at least 3 professional references.
– Have WWCC, Police Check, CPR and Level 2 First Aid
– Have a car & driver’s licence
– Be willing to commit for at least 12 months
– Full working rights in Australia (Applicants with 155, 190 & 186 visas may be considered depending on conditions and length of remaining stay –
417 & 462 visas need not apply)
