Maryanne

I am hoping that final nominations for carer of the year haven't quite closed, as I would like to nominate Belinda for the award as she has been away this week on a well-deserved break. Belinda (or Be as we all call her) started with us earlier this year to help out with our twins who were eight weeks old at the time and she is still with us two days a week while I am at work. The twins and my husband and I just could not manage our lives without her...She is always right on time and always arrives with a bright happy smile and the first thing she does when she walks in the door is to pick up the babies and give them a kiss and a hug. I know when I am at work that the twins are not only cared for, but they are loved. Be sings to them and tells them stories and they have lots of adventures while out walking around the parks and streets near our home.Belinda is a joy to be around and even when she and her family went through a horrific family tragedy earlier this year, she came back to us after only a few days off and has been a wonderful support even through her own difficult times. We would like to say a huge thank you to Be and we hope that we let her know often how much she means to us and what a fantastic job she is doing. If anyone deserves the title "carer of the year" it is Belinda and she embodies the whole spirit of the word care.
