Transport and Vehicle Documentation

Educators often need to transport children as part of the education and care they provide (regulation 102). Where a Family requests that the Educator transports children in a CAR during the session of care, the Educator and Family agree to either of the below:

- The Family requires the Educator to use a vehicle provided to them by the Family to transport children during the term of employment

- The Family requires the Educator to use their own vehicle to transport children during the term of employment

The Service must be provided with license, insurance and registration documentation for record keeping purposes.
